Timber Lake Resort was established in 1955 and is a 159 acre resort and campground facility in historic Mount Carroll, IL. For over 60 years the campground has been enjoyed by vacationers from all over the Midwest. Timber Lake today is rebuilt with all new facilities and a renewed spirit of hospitality. Cabins:

All cabins have heat and air conditioning. Linens, towels and pillows are supplied. Cabins are nicely equipped with a toaster, microwave, coffee pot, dishes, TV and DVD player. All cooking is done on a pedestal charcoal grill that is located at each cabin. These cabins are the finest you will ever find in a setting such as ours.
Our cabins are now open the year round. Pick any season and enjoy these handsomely decorated units with complete amenities. You can enjoy all the comforts as you relax or follow your adventure here in scenic Northern Illinois.
